Worthy has reached another big milestone as we announce our ongoing pilot with Edward Jones.
In March, Worthy's initial launch was the fastest in my career. We saw immediate interest from independent RIAs and quickly logged our first revenue. Now our Edward Jones pilot is showing what an amazing time it is to be building together with a dedicated partner.
Over 300 of their associates are now using our AI-native tax planning tools. It's tremendous validation of our business, and the ongoing innovation we're achieving is a product of the diligent work both our teams have put into the effort.
Why we built Worthy
We founded Worthy on the simple idea that tax planning is the most viable source of advisor alpha and better financial outcomes for families. A client who feels better informed on how to make tax-efficient decisions this year will be more open to conversations about retirement, estate planning, and long-term care down the road.
We believe existing tools are either too templated or just re-skinned generative AI, so we set out to build a native AI platform that makes it faster and easier for advisors to understand their clients' full tax picture. Within Worthy, advisors can use clients' tax information to deliver insight and education that's delivered within a structure of tax expertise, compliance guardrails, and enterprise-grade security.
We knew we had a great idea, but all the research, testing, and mock scenarios we ran simply couldn't replicate the complexity of the real world.
What a real design partnership looks like
Edward Jones had a parallel thesis. Hasan Malik (Chief Strategy Officer) described their approach as "taking what you've developed and molding it into something truly scalable – an iterative exercise."
Greg Robinson (Head of Edward Jones Ventures), set an even higher bar for working with Worthy (and offering pre-seed investment). "We're not investing solely for the sake of returns," he said. "We're investing for the impact these innovations will have on our clients for generations to come."
We're grateful to Hasan, Greg, and the hundreds of Edward Jones associates who have helped build this with us.
What this means for advisors
Our Edward Jones pilot is one part of a larger story. We're also working with independent RIAs and smaller firms, giving individual advisors the ability to offer all their clients sophisticated tax planning. Thousands of client-focused interactions now inform our product. And it's made us more accurate, more secure, and more attuned to the needs of advisors and clients.
Whether you're running a large advisory practice or a lean independent firm, Worthy was built to meet you where you are. And we'd love to show you what we've made possible:
→ Start a free trial — no setup required, just add a client's tax return to start finding insights, running scenarios, and offering a higher level of service in minutes.
→ Running a larger operation? Let's talk about what an enterprise tax planning pilot could look like for your firm: Get in touch.
